Taylor's practice focuses on representing employers in employment-related litigation, as well as on counseling them on a wide range of labor and employment matters.

Taylor assists in representing employers in lawsuits involving claims related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, breach of contract, tortious interference, and unfair competition. She also has experience representing employers in lawsuits to enforce their rights under departing employees' non-compete agreements to protect trade secrets and other confidential information. Taylor's specific involvement typically includes, but is not limited to, drafting dispositive motions, pleadings, discovery, and conducting legal research. Taylor has experience representing employers in both state and federal courts, as well as before arbitration panels and administrative agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Texas Workforce Commission.

In addition, Taylor also helps provide advice and counseling to clients on a variety of employment-related issues that affect each aspect of the employment relationship, including hiring requirements and best practices, to termination. Among other things, she assists in advising clients and proactively working with them to ensure that they are in compliance with both state and federal employment laws in order to minimize the risk of litigation. Taylor also regularly helps counsel clients regarding their labor and employment obligations that arise in connection with mergers and acquisitions and other commercial transactions.
