Braden Dotson maintains an eclectic and wide-ranging litigation practice. He has worked on a wide array of matters ranging from general commercial disputes to complex M&A litigation. He was most recently involved in a large-scale federal criminal trial for alleged Anti-Kickback Statute violations, where he drafted numerous meritorious trial briefs on evidentiary issues. He also recently assisted in drafting a brief opposing class certification in a large federal diversity action based on fiduciary duty and aiding and abetting claims.

He also focuses on regulatory matters, regularly contributing to DLA Piper's consumer finance newsletter, which keeps clients up to date regarding the latest in government suits and enforcements actions, including actions for unfair and deceptive acts and practices under the FTCA.

Prior to joining DLA Piper, he served as the Managing Editor of The International Lawyer, the official journal of the ABA's International Law section and the most widely-distributed US-based international law journal in the world.
