About

Dan Fabian represents institutional investors in connection with their commitments to a variety of alternative investment vehicles, including private equity, venture, infrastructure, credit, and hedge funds as well as fund of funds and co-investments.

Dan works daily with a number of the world’s largest and most active public and private plans, sovereign wealth funds, funds of funds, universities, endowments, investment advisers and family offices to assist them in developing and executing their legal and commercial requirements, strategies and goals.

He negotiates the full spectrum of investment-related documentation (including investment fund governing documents, side letters and subscription agreements) and, in addition to traditional pooled investment vehicles, regularly negotiates funds-of-one and other bespoke investment products.

Before focusing exclusively on investor representation, Dan served as in-house counsel and director of business development to a growing food technology company and, subsequently, advised banks and other institutional lenders in connection with financings (e.g., secured and unsecured, syndicated and single bank, working capital and asset-based transactions, bridge financings and debt restructurings).
