Brett Feldman is a former federal law clerk and experienced litigator. He regularly represents individuals, businesses of all sizes, major research institutions, and healthcare providers and facilities in high stakes matters before state and federal regulators, in trial and appellate courts, and throughout alternative dispute resolution proceedings. He has experience handling matters across a broad spectrum of highly regulated industries, including healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, food service, consumer packaged goods, and insurance. Brett is often called upon to assist out-of-state clients navigate Pennsylvania’s state court system, which differs markedly from federal and other state courts. 

Brett’s practice also regularly includes representing individuals and entities in antitrust matters. He has experience embedding with deal teams to identify and mitigate competitive risk, preparing merger control filings required by the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act, and defending individuals and business in investigations and enforcement litigation. 

Brett is a magna cum laude graduate of the Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif, served as the Managing Editor of the Law Review, and received multiple writing awards.

PRIOR CLERKSHIP & EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE

Before joining DLA Piper, Brett clerked for Chief Judge Juan R. Sánchez of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and spent four years as a litigation associate at another international law firm, where his practice focused on white collar criminal and regulatory defense matters and complex commercial disputes.
