Amanda Fitzsimmons provides legal and strategic advice to domestic and multinational clients, both publicly and privately held, in a broad range of industries, including technology, healthcare, pharmaceutical, apparel, and consumer products regarding privacy, cybersecurity, antitrust and competition, and class action issues.

Amanda has more than a decade of experience defending clients targeted by litigation and government investigations stemming from major privacy and cybersecurity incidents and allegations of anticompetitive conduct. She brings her litigation experience to bear to advise companies involved in some of the highest-profile data security incidents or who seek advice on compliance with federal and state antitrust laws.

Amanda is a frequent writer and speaker on developments in data privacy and cybersecurity litigation, state privacy and data breach notification laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), best practices in incident response, and regulations and litigation risks associated with drones.

In 2015, Amanda became a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
