Hannah Fotsch focuses her practice on all types of franchise and distribution matters, including domestic, international, finance, and mergers and acquisitions. Her practice spans many industries, from food service to home services to health care.

Hannah works with franchisors at all stages. She has supported start-up franchises develop their initial domestic franchise disclose documents and agreements, expanding franchises with their domestic and international growth, as well as franchise systems strategically considering the future of the brand, whether through mergers, acquisitions, de-franchising, or another strategic move. Hannah has experience working with franchisors throughout the entire life cycle of the franchise agreement, from negotiating the franchise agreement, assisting with the enforcement of terms of the agreement, and drafting communications or agreements regarding the expiration or termination of the franchise relationship.

Hannah has experience drafting key franchise and distribution documents, including franchise disclosure documents, franchise and license agreements, unit or area development agreements, distribution agreements, non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, non-solicitation and non-compete agreements, and other documents to support franchise systems and distributors domestically and internationally.

Hannah has also assisted with the publication of an international franchise regulatory update where, three times a year, she aggregated the updates in franchise and franchise-related laws and regulations worldwide, analyzed those deevelopments, and published the findings to key domestic and international franchising stakeholders.
