Jared Greenfield is an associate in DLA Piper's Intellectual Property and Technology group. Jared concentrates his practice on intellectual property and technology-related matters involving trademarks, trade dress, copyrights, and complex commercial disputes. Jared has represented large multinational and Fortune 500 companies as well as small emerging public and privately held companies across a broad range of industries including: blockchain and digital assets (NFTs and cryptocurrencies); consumer goods and apparel; sports, media and entertainment; financial services; software and information technology; gaming and hospitality; heavy equipment and industrial manufacturing; aerospace; construction services; and medical devices and pharmaceuticals. Jared has litigated through trial disputes in multiple federal courts around the country as well as before the USPTO's Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. His experience encompasses all aspects of the litigation process, including drafting operative pleadings, law and motion practice, discovery, and trial work. Jared also advises clients on a variety of subjects, including false advertising, unfair competition, defamation, right of publicity, theft of trade secrets, domestic trademark prosecution, and branding strategies.

Jared maintains an active pro bono practice, representing a broad range of clients, including juvenile asylum seekers, non-profit organizations and charitable institutions, and small business owners and entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities.
