John Guaragna focuses on litigation and counseling regarding various technology and intellectual property related matters. John has successfully represented clients at trial in antitrust, patent and trademark matters in district courts throughout the United States, as well as in the International Trade Commission and the Federal Trade Commission. John's recent experience includes defending Oracle, Silicon Labs, KLA-Tencor, Box, NIKE, Starwood, HomeAway, Blackboard, Sonim and others in various intellectual property matters.

He has significant experience in the Eastern District of Texas where he is admitted to practice and has handled over 80 patent infringement matters, including dozens of cases involving multiple defendants and joint defense coordination.

Additionally, John has extensive experience relating to industry standard-setting and the intersection between patent law and antitrust law, including a three-month antitrust trial before the Federal Trade Commission. John also has handled various trademark, trade secret, copyright and indemnity disputes.
