John Guaragna focuses on counseling and litigation regarding various technology and intellectual property matters.

John has successfully represented clients at trial in antitrust, patent and trademark cases in district courts throughout the United States, as well as in the International Trade Commission and the Federal Trade Commission. John's recent experience includes defending KLA-Tencor, Itron, Starwood, Oracle, Silicon Labs, Box, NIKE, HomeAway, Blackboard, Sonim and others in various intellectual property matters.

John has significant experience in the Eastern District of Texas where he is admitted to practice and has handled over 150 patent infringement cases, including numerous cases involving multiple defendants and joint defense coordination.

Additionally, John has extensive experience relating to industry standard-setting and the intersection between patent law and antitrust law, including a three-month antitrust trial before the Federal Trade Commission. He also has handled various trademark, trade secret, copyright and indemnity disputes.
