Péter Györfi-Tóth is a partner at DLA Piper Hungary since 2000 and heads the Finance, Projects and Restructuring group both in Hungary and across CEE.

With more than 20 years’ experience, he advises clients in major local and cross-border transactions in the fields of infrastructure development, banking law, projects and finance, state regulatory legal issues, financial law, real estate development, insolvency and bankruptcy, restructuring, litigation and arbitration.

Péter Györfi-Tóth also represents and acts for governments and private entities as procuring authorities and bidders. Péter has also major experience in construction and engineering sector.

He has top-notch skills regarding infrastructure and energy-related projects, especially relating to roads, rail, airports, and telecoms including advising on restructuring several PPP/PFI projects in sports and cultural infrastructure matters.

Péter Györfi-Tóth is a recommended arbitrator in the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Permanent Court of Arbitration for financial, capital market, and energetics issues.
