Eric Hagen has more than 20 years' experience representing domestic and multi-national clients in complex, high-stakes intellectual property disputes. He has successfully represented clients in a number of industries, including in the life sciences, technology, and media, sport and entertainment sectors.

Eric has served as a first and second-chair lawyer in jury and bench trials, as well as in arbitration and critical motion practice. He also has successfully guided cases through appeals before state and federal courts, including the US Supreme Court. In the courtroom, he has helped clients protect ground-breaking inventions and iconic brands and also avoid potentially ruinous liability. He is also a trusted advisor for several start-up companies in the development and protection of their intellectual property portfolios.

Eric is an adjunct professor at Loyola Law School where he teaches an advanced course on intellectual property litigation.
