Jonathan Hicks concentrates on procuring and enforcing patents, including patent prosecution, competitor patent suits, defense of companies from non-practicing entities, due diligence involving patent portfolios, pre-suit patent analysis and post-patent proceedings in technology including software and hardware technologies such as network communications, security and encryption, user interface design, databases, storage systems, haptic sensors, touch-sensitive displays, consumer products and other technology.

He represents clients ranging from solo inventors to international corporations and has experience representing clients in various district courts and administrative bodies, including the Eastern District of Texas, the Western District of Texas, the Northern District of California, the Central District of California, the District of Nevada, the International Trade Commission as well as California and Nevada state courts.
