About

Sojung Jeong ("Bridget") works in close partnership with US and multinational employers to deliver efficient and practical solutions to meet the needs of their international workforce and to implement complex multijurisdictional initiatives.

Bridget advises both emerging growth companies and multinational companies as they navigate all matters involving the employment relationship, from engagement and expansion such as hiring options, contingent workforce solutions, and employer-of-record considerations, to localization and personnel management such as employment agreements, handbooks and policies, wage and hour compliance, and global mobility, to workforce restructuring and collective and individual employee separations.

Bridget also advises on the international labor and employment aspects of cross-border mergers and acquisitions and post-transaction workforce integration. Bridget's experience includes cross-border coordination, reviewing deal agreements, and advising on post-acquisition workforce integration issues such as employee transfers, consultation with works councils and employee representative bodies, and benefits harmonization.

Bridget also has experience representing employers before US state and federal courts and administrative agencies in single plaintiff and class actions for discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, and other unfair labor practice charges.

Bridget actively engages in various pro bono matters to assist asylum seekers as well as non-profits and NGOs.
