Jia Li counsels multinational corporations on global and US employment issues and has experience defending employers in litigation before federal/state courts and in employment matters before administrative agencies.

Jia advises international companies on a variety of global employment matters such as hiring, termination, policies and procedures, confidentiality agreements, restrictive covenants, outsourcing and workforce restructuring. Jia also assists with the employment aspects in due diligence and advises on employment implications of cross-border mergers and acquisitions.

On the US domestic front, experienced with representing employers before federal/state courts and administrative agencies in single-plaintiff matters and class/collective actions, Jia counsels employers on a broad range of issues such as matters involving hiring, employment discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, reductions in force and restrictive covenants.

Jia's practice also includes privacy laws in the employment context, such as risks associated with workplace surveillance and employment-related data collection.
