Pete Maggiore represents clients in intellectual property litigation, with an emphasis on patent litigation, in both United States district courts and the ITC. His experience includes representing clients in the telecommunications, mobile device, computer security, anti-virus, computer software and hardware, automotive, and medical diagnostics markets. He has participated in four patent jury trials (Northern and Southern District of California and District of Arizona).

Pete is a member of DLA Piper’s San Diego Pro Bono Committee and maintains an active pro bono practice, focusing on immigration and veterans affairs matters.

Prior Experience

Pete was a 2012 Summer Associate at DLA Piper and joined DLA following his graduation from the University of Michigan Law School. Before attending law school, he worked for a New York State physician education and advocacy organization where he focused on researching and developing Continuing Medical Education accredited programs for physicians.
