Lee Miller is Chair Emeritus of DLA Piper. He is a former member of the DLA Global Board and the US Executive Committee.

Lee has also been a driving force behind DLA Piper's extensive pro bono and corporate social responsibility initiatives. In 2013, DLA Piper lawyers and staff donated more than 240,000 hours of pro bono and community engagement services to social problems in our communities, as well as several global pro bono initiatives around the world through New Perimeter, DLA Piper's nonprofit affiliate.

Lee is also devoted to advancing diversity and inclusion in the legal community. Under his leadership, in 2010 DLA Piper launched its Alternative Work Schedule program, adopting a set of best practices to guide a flexible work program to meet the life/work demands of the firm's diverse workforce and support DLA Piper's business strategy of attracting and retaining top-quality talent. The program stems from DLA Piper's involvement in the Project for Attorney Retention (PAR). Lee is one of the 12 members of PAR's Diversity and Flexibility Connection, an initiative bringing together prominent general counsels and law firm chairs who work to make the legal profession more inclusive for women and minority lawyers.
