Paola Ronquillo focuses her practice on regulatory and compliance matters relating to the financial services sector.  She specializes in advising clients on how to strengthen their supervisory relationships, ensure their remediation of regulatory concerns is aligned with supervisory expectations, ascertain if company boards are operating effectively, and, ultimately, help firms operate in a safe and sound manner, consistent with the business vision they have for their institutions.

Paola's entire professional career has been spent working in or with financial institutions, functioning in and around control functions.  She worked as a senior bank examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York supervising large banks and was most recently at General Electric Capital Corporation as Chief Compliance Officer of the Industrial Treasury function (and leader of Treasury's anti-money laundering program) and as leader of GE's Volcker Compliance program.  Paola started her career as a credit analyst at foreign and domestic banking institutions and also spent years doing advisory work a senior consultant at Grant Thornton LLP. While her compliance specialty is primarily in the financial services industry, her core compliance knowledge is applicable across many industries.
