Shawn Ronda focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions, representing institutional clients, developers, private equity companies, joint venture partners and investors in all aspects of acquisitions and dispositions, finance, leasing and real estate development.

Shawn has counselled clients with respect to the acquisition, development and financing of real estate for mixed-use, multi-family, hotel, student housing, senior housing, medical office and storage facility projects in the City of Chicago and throughout the United States.

Shawn has also handled multiple portfolio transactions and sale/leaseback transactions across a wide variety of asset classes. Shawn regularly counsels clients with respect to the real estate related aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including the negotiation of asset purchase agreements and merger documents and the implementation of due diligence strategies and activities.
