Laurie Scola’s transactional practice focuses on a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, finance, workouts, leasing, construction and development. Laurie advises clients in connection with community development transactions, including affordable housing, senior housing, health care housing and other campus and community housing facilities, and Community Reinvestment Act matters, including tax-credit supported transactions involving multiple layers of federal, state and municipal debt, subsidies and grants.

Laurie has extensive experience representing lenders, borrowers, investors and servicers in originating, servicing, restructuring and enforcing complex financing facilities, including construction, bridge, permanent, bond, letter of credit and mezzanine facilities, as well as individual and portfolio loan sales, participations, syndications and CMBS matters. She also represents hospitality companies in mixed-use resort development projects as well as condominium and fractional interest projects, and regularly advises institutional clients in connection with corporate real estate matters involving leasing, construction, development, acquisitions and dispositions.
