Brett Solberg is a senior associate with first-chair trial and appellate experience. Brett focuses his practice on complex commercial disputes in the courts and in arbitration.

Brett has resolved disputes for business clients of all sizes from numerous sectors including, among others, energy, real estate, private equity, manufacturing, financial institutions, professional services and consulting.

A significant part of Brett's practice involves assisting foreign clients navigate the US court system. He has represented clients from Mexico, Brazil, England, Germany, Italy, China, Canada, Argentina and Turkey in litigation, arbitration and appeals in the US. Brett has experience handling the unique legal issues that come with cross-border disputes like obtaining or preventing access to information stored abroad, invoking or defeating foreign sovereign immunity and other jurisdictional challenges, as well as international collections.

Additionally, because of his appellate background, Brett is often called on to provide strategic input on dispositive motions and the technical aspects of error preservation before and during trial.
