Nathan Stein

Senior Attorney
About

Nathan Stein is an experienced litigation attorney who counsels litigation case teams and clients on all aspects of eDiscovery, information management, and information governance.

In litigation and investigations, Nathan routinely drafts and negotiates discovery orders and meets and confers with requesting and producing parties regarding discovery-related topics.
Nathan's proficiency in the development, implementation, and use of eDiscovery tools, company records retention programs, and legal hold processes informs his pragmatic approach to counseling his clients on these complex issues.

Nathan regularly works closely with eXplore, DLA Piper’s eDiscovery Resource Center, managing large-scale document reviews for early case assessment, deposition preparation, and document productions.

Nathan spent over a decade in the in-house litigation team for a large multinational, including 8 years in their European operations center, giving him perspective on the day-to-day implications of the eDiscovery and information management advice he gives clients.

Outside of eDiscovery and information management, Nathan also has meaningful practice in the areas of Data Privacy, Data Security, and corporate Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption programs.
