Courtney Stewart is a trial lawyer experienced in patent and complex commercial litigation. She has represented large corporations with a national and international presence, in matters before the Federal Circuit, Fifth Circuit, District Courts in Texas, California, and Delaware, as well as the International Trade Commission. Her representations have included Oracle, Nike, Pfizer, Dell, Starwood, Garmin, Silicon Labs, HomeAway, and SolarWinds, among others.

Courtney has significant experience in the Western District of Texas. Before entering private practice, Courtney clerked for U.S. District Judge Sam Sparks in the Austin Division of the Western District of Texas for two years.

Throughout her career, Courtney has done pro bono work and served on boards.  Most recently, Courtney partnered with public-interest justice group Texas Appleseed to decriminalize truancy in Texas.  She is a member of DLA Piper’s North American Pro Bono Committee.
