Courtney Stewart is a litigator whose practice focuses primarily on patent and complex commercial litigation, including all phases of discovery, pre-trial, and both jury and bench trial work. She has represented clients in matters before the Federal Circuit, Fifth Circuit, District Courts in Texas, California, and Delaware, as well as the International Trade Commission.

Before joining DLA Piper in 2005, Courtney clerked for U.S. District Judge Sam Sparks in the Western District of Texas for two years.

Courtney is a member of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee and has worked on civil rights impact litigation focused on children in poverty and school education issues.
