Carolina is an associate in DLA Piper's Intellectual Property and Technology group. She advises clients in the media and entertainment industry in all areas of intellectual property, particularly copyright and trademark matters. She also manages advertising disputes and patent litigation for global food and beverage companies, emerging fashion brands, and novelty consumer product retailers. In addition, Carolina counsels clients on intellectual property acquisition and enforcement, including pre-litigation best practices.

Carolina regularly speaks and writes on novel issues facing digital media, recently examining influencer liability issues within the Instagram ecosystem. Dedicated to advancing opportunities for women, Carolina maintains an active pro bono practice supporting women-led, socially-conscious businesses.
