Wei has more than eleven years of experience as a transfer pricing practitioner. Wei assists multinational corporations with a wide range of transfer pricing and tax planning matters, primarily related to intercompany policy design, supply chain optimization, intellectual property (IP) valuation and global transfer pricing compliance.

Wei's broad range of experience and activities include: assessment, design and implementation of intercompany structures and transaction flows that align business and tax objectives; IP alignment and modeling for tax and transfer pricing purposes; preparation of transfer pricing documentation and country-by-country reporting; review of the transfer pricing components of  income tax provisions; preparation of unilateral and bilateral advance pricing agreement applications; preparation and review of operational transfer pricing models (e.g., cost sharing and management fee); and occasional audit defense support. Wei works in both the outbound and inbound arenas. With a focus on the technology industry, Wei has served clients in a variety of industries and sectors, including industrial and consumer products, retail and automotive.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining the firm, Wei was a Senior Manager at EY's San Jose office. She also has previous work experience in Chicago and Hong Kong, focusing on US, OECD, China and Hong Kong transfer pricing matters.
