Hyundong (Hyun) Yeo's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and other strategically important transactions with a particular focus on private equity funds and their portfolio companies. 

Hyun advises on matters involving a range of industries, with a particular focus on the technology, financial services, automotive, energy storage, tobacco, consumer products, and healthcare industries.

He has significant experience representing privately equity sponsors, issuers and investment banks in complex and multi-jurisdictional transactions, including debt and equity offerings both domestic and cross-border, acquisition financings and liability management exercises, with a particular emphasis on issuances of high-yield debt securities. 

He provides sophisticated advice on a wide range of capital-raising transactions, including: PIPE (private investment in public equity) transactions; initial public offerings by foreign private issuers; rights issue and privately placed capital increases and other follow-on equity offerings. He has particular experience in the representation of issuers, underwriters and placement agents in connection with public and private securities offerings, including: SPACs and other structured blank-check offerings. For entrepreneurs with a vision, Hyun helps form companies efficiently and provides introductions to venture capital, private equity, and strategic investors. In addition, Hyun regularly advises publicly-traded corporations and their executive officers and directors on strategic and corporate governance matters.

Hyun worked as a law clerk to the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, Public Protection Division-Bureau of Consumer Protection. During the law school, Hyun worked as a legal intern at the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT), in Rome, Italy.
