Ahmad Al Dajani

Of Counsel
About

Ahmad Al Dajani focuses his practice on aviation regulation, advising clients at the intersection of complex regulatory frameworks and high-stakes transactions. Among other things, Ahmad counsels clients on the aviation regulatory and competition (antitrust) aspects of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other cooperation agreements, as well as related investigations and litigation.

His work spans transaction structuring, regulatory strategy, and integration planning. He represents airlines and other aviation stakeholders in U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) proceedings involving carrier fitness determinations; route, slot, and frequency allocations; rulemaking; and antitrust immunity for international alliances. He also advises U.S. and foreign air carriers on licensing, permit, and exemption authority for international operations; counsels clients on compliance with DOT and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulatory requirements; and advises on the regulatory framework governing unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).

Drawing on his combined antitrust and aviation regulatory experience, Ahmad helps clients advance their commercial objectives through complex regulatory processes, including in contentious matters — from government investigations and merger litigation to confidential international arbitration.
