Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation – Are you ready?

Sustainability and ESG issues are making headlines like never before. 2021 has started with a flurry of activity, announcements and promises from policymakers and corporations around the world.

Despite this attention it is easy to forget that the EU Commission’s ambitious Sustainable Finance Strategy will be brought into reality in 2021: From 10 March 2021 the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) requires Fund and Asset Managers to disclose a significant amount of new information, including how they consider sustainability risks in their investment processes and products, and how they deal with principal adverse impacts of their investment decisions on sustainability factors.

Reports indicate that many managers and advisers are yet to fully address the new requirements. To help you understand what is needed and how it can be achieved, we have prepared an overview of the main issues in SFDR implementation across Europe and practical guidance on how to address them.

We hope that you find this guide useful. If you have any queries about the implementation of SFDR or require further guidance please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
