About

Eric is an experienced lawyer and data scientist who develops tools and provides data-driven strategic advice to clients using artificial intelligence, including predictive modeling, machine learning, natural language processing (including LLMs and Generative AI), data analytics, and other AI to improve legal outcomes in an efficient manner. As one of the few people in the industry who is both a data scientist and attorney, Eric leads a team of data scientists representing insurers, manufacturers, and private equity concerns with large legal portfolios in both the litigation and transactional arenas, and has built a reputation for helping clients utilize AI and data analytics to develop strategic solutions to risks throughout the world. Eric is a 2018 graduate of the Post Graduate Program in Data Analytics from the University of Connecticut School of Business, and was recognized in that same year with the Law360 Data-Driven Lawyer Award.

  • Provided industry leading manufacturers, sellers, distributors and private equity concerns with strategic advice on the sale of litigation risk in multiple international jurisdictions.
  • Developed various innovative tools and initiatives utilizing machine learning, natural language processing, and data analytics to increase both the efficiency and quality of particular legal tasks. 
  • Represented industry-leading pharmaceutical, medical device, automobile, heavy industrial machinery, tobacco, asbestos, and component part manufacturers in various product liability and commercial matters.
  • Served as national, regional, jurisdictional and liaison counsel in numerous multi-district federal and state coordinated proceedings throughout the country.
