Chris Dormer carries on a general litigation practice with an emphasis on corporate/commercial disputes and employment and labour law. Chris also has experience with debtor/creditor claims, security enforcement and creditor collection, trade-mark and copyright infringement, privacy, and builders’ lien matters.

Chris has appeared in various litigation matters before all levels of court in Alberta, the Court of Queen’s Bench and Provincial Court of Saskatchewan, as well as the Federal Court of Canada.  Chris has also represented clients before the Alberta Securities Commission, the Canadian Human Rights Commission and the Canada Industrial Labour Relations Board, in addition to appearing in arbitrations, mediations and as a nominee in Labour Arbitration matters.

Raised in Calgary, Chris received both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Calgary. Chris joined the firm as an associate in 2009 after completion of his articles.
