Monika practises civil and commercial litigation, with a particular focus in the areas of estate litigation and ‎family law. ‎

She represents clients and assists senior counsel in a broad range of civil and commercial disputes and ‎family law matters.‎

Prior to completing her articles with the firm, Monika earned her J.D. from the Peter A. Allard School of ‎Law at the University of British Columbia. Over the course of her degree, Monika worked as a Research ‎Assistant to a law professor, volunteered as an Assistant Editor at the UBC Law Review and served as Co-‎Vice President of External Relations of the Legal Education Outreach program.‎

Monika joined DLA Piper as an articled student in 2021 and became an associate in 2022. ‎
