Christie Lehr focuses her practice on securities regulations, with an emphasis on the real estate industry.

Christie regularly represents real estate investment trusts, investment banking firms and dealer managers in connection with securities offerings for publicly traded and non-traded REITs, including negotiating underwriting and selling agreements and making FINRA (formerly NASD) filings on behalf of such investment banks and dealer managers. She has made FINRA filings on behalf of dealer managers in over 15 offerings by non-traded REITs seeking to raise over US$40 billion in total gross proceeds. Through this work, she has gained extensive knowledge of FINRA practice and policies.

Christie is the Pro Bono Coordinator for the Raleigh office, and she is also a member of DLA Piper's North American Pro Bono Committee.
