Tax legislation is currently under change as an implementation of the OECD:s BEPS project and similar tax regulation within EU. Cut in tax rates and limitations on interest deduction have been introduced in Finland and in Sweden. In Norway we see a closer focus on demerger procedures to avoid stamp duties. In Denmark there is a focus on VAT on the transfer of land plots and new buildings. This means that the tax environment for real estate investments is under significant changes in the Nordics.
The objective of the seminar is to present the tax environment for real estate investments in the Nordic. We will also present the capacity of DLA Piper to assist on legal and tax advice in direct and cross border investments in the Nordic.
Speakers are leading tax lawyers in DLA Piper from each of the Nordic countries. They will share their view on latest development of tax legislation, particularly regarding real estate matters.
Who should attend?
Seminar is aimed to professionals in real estate companies, investment funds, banks and any other interested, particularly with a business activity involving more than one of the Nordic countries.
RSVP: 31 October. Attendance is free of charge. Register: [email protected]
