Justyna Helbing advises on immigration issues related to the legalisation of work and residence of foreigners in Poland.

She also supports clients in concluding, terminating and reviewing employment and civil law contracts, as well as drafting and implementing internal documents such as work regulations, remuneration regulations, remote work regulations and procedures for reporting irregularities (whistleblowing policies).

In addition, Justyna assists in preparing legal opinions and in advising clients on ongoing employment law issues, including those related to various forms of employment, the posting of employees, employee documentation, working hours, and legal obligations of employers.

EXPERIENCE

  • Handling procedures for obtaining work permits, temporary residence permits, confirmation of Polish citizenship, and the registration of statements on the entrustment of work
  • Providing ongoing advice to Polish and multinational employers on the conclusion, amendment and termination of employment contracts, including the structuring of termination processes, risk assessment, and the preparation of termination documentation in both individual and collective employment scenarios.
  • Assisting employers in the design and implementation of changes to remuneration and bonus regulations, including analysing compliance with Polish labour law, preparing and amending internal regulations, providing support in consultations with employee representatives, and advising on communication and implementation strategies.
  • Preparing employment litigation documentation, including drafting replies to statements of claim, appeals and responses to appeals, conducting legal analyses of procedural and substantive employment law issues, and supporting clients throughout proceedings before Polish labour courts.
