Prior Experience
Before joining DLA Piper, Steven spent 21 years as a USPTO Patent Examiner focusing on autonomous vehicles and GUIs. In 2023, he externed to the PTAB for IPR trials and served in the CRU as a specialist. Previously, Steven was a registered representative and managed technical operations at Charles Schwab, contributing to software development. He also worked as an Avionics Technician in the USAF and Florida Air National Guard on B1-B and F-16 aircraft.
