Paweł Matej advises entities engaged in conducting international trade and providing cross-border services.

Paweł specializes in comprehensive advisory concerning international trade law. He advises clients in numerous customs matters including classification, valuation and customs origin issues. In addition, he has sizeable experience in advisory regarding non-tariff measures including trade in dual-use items and military goods, product and environment requirements as well as sanctions.

Paweł’s area of expertise also covers advisory to entities providing cross-border services, in particular entities engaged in gambling and insurance sectors.

He represents clients before common courts of law and administrative courts, as well as before the Polish customs authorities and the European Commission. In addition, Paweł advises clients in penal-fiscal proceedings in relation to the violation of customs law and excise duty regulations.
