  • A Fortune 50 consumer products retailer in a non-public DOJ antitrust investigation in which our client was alleged to be the hub of a cross-border hub-and-spoke price fixing conspiracy. We resolved the matter with no enforcement against the company.

We handled the acquisition, leasing, land use approvals and securing of tax increment and sales tax rebate financing for many of these sites

  • A discount general merchandise retailer in its chapter 11 filing in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas in Dallas

  • A British multinational retailing company with its chapter 15 filing by the foreign representatives in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York

  • A New York City-based brand management company in its purchase of the intellectual property of a luxury retailer – part of the Barneys New York chapter 11 case in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York

  • Represented an interested purchaser and bidder for certain assets of a retailer of furniture, home accessories and wall décor.

  • Represented a New York City-based brand management company as stalking horse bidder in the potential acquisition of Brookstone in connection with its chapter 11 case in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware

  • An American chain of mall-based retail toy stores as counsel to secured creditor in connection with its chapter 11 cases in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware

  • Prince Sports: represented Authentic Brands Group, LLC as purchaser of the designer, manufacturer and distributor of premier equipment used in racquet sports in connection with its chapter 11 case in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware

  • A major shoe and apparel designer and retailer on indirect tax and customs aspects of restructuring its supply chain and related legal documentation
