He has also been involved in brownfield redevelopment and soil pollution cases. He deals with international public procurement files like the construction of NATO buildings, the development of the first Joint Auction Platform for EU ETS allowances, on behalf of the European Commission and 24 Member States, or acting on behalf of private clients against European institutions. He advises a wide range of both public and private sector clients on all aspects of administrative law, including public and utilities procurement law. Bob has further defended clients before the Council of State and the Constitutional Court as well as the European Court regarding all types of administrative acts. He also has experience in advising on the restructuring of public entities, feasibility studies relative to the possibilities of private initiative in public bodies and assistance in public management agreements for public entities. Bob heads the Belgian Regulatory team. Bob is a member of the DLA Piper Brexit Committee, which coordinates the firm's approach to the withdrawal of the UK from the European Union.
