DLA Piper’s Steven Phillips, Tony Samp and Nat Bell named to The Hill’s 2023 Top Lobbyists list
DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Steven Phillips, Tony Samp and Nat Bell have been named to The Hill's 2023 Top Lobbyists list, recognizing those who “stand out for the results they’ve delivered for their clients, companies, trade associations and advocacy groups in the nation’s capital.”
Phillips, Samp and Bell are members of the firm’s Federal Law and Policy group within the Regulatory and Government Affairs practice.
Phillips, US chair of the firm’s Government Affairs practice, represents corporations, national trade associations and foreign governments in high-stakes matters before Congress and in Congressional hearings. Phillips works with clients in the defense, artificial intelligence, appropriations, renewable energy, and health care sectors, among others.
Samp, a senior policy advisor, heads DLA Piper’s AI policy practice in Washington, DC. He is one of the foremost advisors in the US on AI, national security, space and emerging technology, representing clients before Congress and federal agencies with a focus on Congressional strategies and appropriations.
Bell, a senior policy advisor, is recognized for assisting clients with targeted legislative and appropriations strategies, as well as helping companies and stakeholders work within the annual National Defense Authorization Process. He works across multiple sectors, including space, defense, advanced technology, healthcare, and university and nonprofit entities.
