Pavlína Neumannová is an associate in DLA Piper Prague office. Pavlína has diversified experience with matters of Commercial and Corporate law, and with disputes settlement.

As a member of the Corporate team, she advises our international and local clients on major transactions as well as she participates in efficient solution of matters connected to clients’ day-to-day business operations. Her Corporate experience also allows her to take part in the dispute resolution of commercial disputes.

She is currently enrolled in a postgraduate programme at the Charles University, Faculty of Law, in international private law, examining the resolution of investment claims arising out of an economic crisis in international arbitration.

EXPERIENCE

  • Advising Karlin Group, a major Czech developer, on the sale of 50% of the shares in two residential projects to developer and investor PPF Real Estate. Our advice also included pre-notification negotiation on concentration of competitors with the Czech Competition Authority.
  • Advising Zip Co Limited, an Australian financial technology company, on its acquisition of Twisto Payments, a Czech FinTech leader in Buy Now Pay Later platforms, and on the regulatory proceedings before the Czech National Bank as condition precedent for the transaction.
  • Advising a leading warehouses logistics operator in connection with the lease negotiations relating to premises in CTPark Bor. The lease comprises of 60,046 m² area in Ostrov u Tachova to be leased for upcoming 10 years for approx. EUR3.5 million per year.
  • Advising on sale a Czech gaming studio to Swedish investor for approx. EUR43m.
  • Advising HVB Leasing, a company in the UniCredit Group focusing on real estate leasing, on the sale of a large production and storage area located in Prague (Eastgate Park Prague) to Charnwood for approx. EUR16m. The transaction was part of an acquisition of the area by Hines Global, a US investor and global developer.
  • Advising HVB Leasing, a company in the UniCredit Group focusing on real estate leasing, on the sale of Albert stores located in the Czech Republic to Traxial, a Czech investor and developer, for approx. CZK420 million.
  • Advising a Cypriot securities trader conducting business in the field of investment instruments and virtual assets on establishing of presence in the Czech Republic.
  • Advising Jet Maintenance Solutions, a Lithuanian aviation maintenance and repair company, in a dispute before Czech courts.
