About
Paweł has over seven years of experience in advising energy clients on investment projects and regulatory issues.

Among other things, he has advised on the construction of generation sources, the construction of connection and distribution infrastructure, and the evaluation of planned and operating installations (in a transactional context) - with a particular focus on the renewable energy sector, including photovoltaic and wind farms (onshore and offshore).

Paweł also has extensive experience in conventional power and oil & gas projects, and he supports clients in disputes and proceedings before the President of the Energy Regulatory Authority.

EXPERIENCE

  • Advising Respect Energy on the acquisition and development of a potential 290 MW photovoltaic farm (maximum capacity available), including preparing the full transaction documentation and conducting a due diligence process (2020).
  • Advising Respect Energy on the acquisition and development of the biggest wind farm and biggest photovoltaic farm in Poland in the early development stage, with a total planned capacity exceeding 1 GW (ongoing).
  • Advising the client on a number of wind farm projects, including:
    • Advising on the acquisition and development of a 108.8 MW wind farm, including preparing the full transaction documentation and conducting a due diligence process. This was one of the biggest deals in Poland to date in terms of the capacity of wind farm projects.
    • Advising on the development and sale of a 63 MW wind farm, including preparing the transaction documentation and all the regulatory aspects of the deal. The total production of electricity in the wind farm is estimated to be around 200 GWh per year.
