Announcing our global guide to Corporate Power Purchase Agreements

A Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is a long-term contract under which a business agrees to purchase electricity directly from an energy generator. These structured agreements provide financial certainty for the utility companies and the developers, removing a significant roadblock to financing and building new renewable facilities.

At a time when sustainability and environmental issues are coming to the fore, PPAs are therefore helping to deliver more renewable energy on the grid. A Corporate PPA with a financially strong counterparty is an essential component for achieving a bankable project.

DLA Piper is proud to announce its global guide to Corporate Power Purchase Agreements.  This interactive dedicated online resource covers business-relevant issues important to practitioners, in-house counsel and companies striving to understand the key intricacies of corporate power purchase agreements: PPA structures and parties involved; challenges; and regulatory issues.  It provides information from 27 jurisdictions around the world.
