DLA Piper receives 2020 Excellence in Diversity Award from T-Mobile

DLA Piper is extremely pleased to announce that the firm has been selected by T-Mobile's legal department to receive the company’s 2020 Excellence in Diversity Law Firm Award.

T-Mobile chose DLA Piper to receive the award from among its many law firms. The firm’s selection was based on the results of a detailed survey measuring the scope and efficacy of the firm’s diversity and inclusion programs, its overall diversity metrics, and the inclusiveness of teams staffed on T-Mobile’s matters. T-Mobile utilized a third-party analytics firm to review and rank the survey submissions on an anonymous basis. DLA Piper’s high score led to its selection.

Among the factors that resulted in DLA Piper’s selection as a winner included its certification as a Mansfield Plus firm and its ongoing partnership with New York University's Kenji Yoshino, Director of the Center for Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging and Chief Justice Earl Warren Professor of Constitutional Law at NYU School of Law. T-Mobile also considered DLA Piper’s strong diversity metrics, strategic pillars, selection of a chief diversity and inclusion officer, and leadership programs focused on fostering a diverse and inclusive pipeline of future leaders.
