About

Lenora Ausbon-Odom is the firm's Chief Talent Development and Inclusion Officer.

In this role, she is primarily responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive talent development strategy which enables the firm to achieve its marketplace and people goals. Lenora joined DLA Piper in 2017 as its director of professional development after having served in consulting and management roles at EY and Deloitte for more than 19 years.

At DLA Piper, Lenora is involved in a number of strategic initiatives, including the creation of the firm's current lawyer and business professional development programs. Trained as both a lawyer and a business consultant, Lenora combines skills earned from both professions to build coalition and high performing teams that deliver and encourage team member growth. She has led the firm's D&I educational programming, including shaping the curriculum for leadership programs for women and people of color. Lenora has also been integral in the redevelopment of our D&I strategy and pillars, working with practice group and senior firm leaders, designing resources for real-time learning, and in developing deeper relationships with historically Black colleges and universities and minority-serving institutions to foster a stronger pipeline for the advancement of diverse lawyers.
