He also represents businesses as plaintiffs and defendants in antitrust and consumer protection litigation, including litigation against government enforcement agencies. Clients quoted in Chambers call Brian "a very smart lawyer that pairs legal expertise with the ability to think outside the box" and praise his "thoughtful, well-reasoned and practical guidance."

Brian has led complex multijurisdictional merger, cartel, and pricing conduct investigations, as well as a wide range of US and global consumer protection investigations. Brian brings a courtroom perspective to investigations, transactions, and business counseling in which the prospect of government or private litigation can shape strategy.
