Thailand Increases Minimum Wage Across All Provinces
On 17 June 2025, the Government Gazette published the new minimum daily wage rates, which took effect on 1 July 2025.
The minimum wage rates have remained the same as the previous announcement, which is from THB337 to THB400, depending on the province. Previously, the minimum wage rate of THB400 applies only to 4 provinces and 1 district. With the new adjustments, Bangkok has been included into the province entitled to THB400 minimum wage rate, and the Hotel and Entertainment Place Business are now entitled to such amount as well, regardless of province. In summary, the minimum wage rate of THB400 has additionally extended to 5 provinces, 1 district and 2 types of business.
