Double Tax Treaty negotiations between Kuwait and Ecuador in an advanced stage

On 12 June 2023, a press release published by the government of Ecuador stated that the negotiations for a Double Tax Treaty (DTT) between Kuwait and Ecuador are in their final stage. Further details will be reported as soon as they become available.

Oman ratifies Double Tax Treaty with Egypt

On 25 June 2023, Oman has ratified the DTT with Egypt, which was signed on 22 May 2023, by way of Royal Decree No. 43/2023. Further details will be reported as soon as they become available.

Egypt’s House of Representatives approves Double Tax Treaty with Qatar

On 11 July 2023, Egypt’s House of Representatives approved Presidential Decree No. 254 of 2023 for the ratification of the DTT with Qatar. The Egypt-Qatar DTT was signed on 27 February 2023. Further details will be reported as soon as they become available.
