Jordan Deering named a Lexology Legal Influencer

Jordan Deering has been named a Legal Influencer for Q4 2022 by Lexology, a leading global provider of legal content. One of 10 Canadian lawyers chosen for the Q4 cycle, Jordan was ‎recognized as an influencer in the area of Future of Legal Services.

Lexology Legal Influencers recognises the thought leaders in the legal industry every quarter who consistently provide useful, insightful legal analysis within their particular work area grouping and region or country. Influencers, both individual authors and firms, are chosen through Lexology’s bespoke process which considers the number of reads and the LexScore of each article in the quarter. These measures are combined to rank the top content on Lexology.

Jordan is the Canadian Chair of DLA Piper Canada’s Corporate Crime, Compliance and Investigations Group. She has over 20 years of experience acting on litigation, investigations, and ‎regulatory proceedings involving all aspects of fraud, bribery, corruption, and white collar crime. Jordan ‎often reports directly to senior executives, board of directors, or special committees on sensitive and serious investigation matters.‎ In an effort to keep clients up-to-date on key developments impacting these rapidly evolving areas of law‎, Jordan and her team have authored over 30 articles in the past two years discussing changes to legislation and relevant court findings, in addition to other important matters.
