Tal Aburos focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, white-collar defense, and government investigations. She represents companies and individuals in high-stakes litigation and has played key roles in significant matters, including defending multinational corporations against RICO and fraud claims, serving as lead associate in nationally publicized corporate governance litigation, and developing litigation strategy in complex commercial disputes.

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Tal served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Beth Bloom of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. During her clerkship, she worked on a wide range of matters, including class actions, securities litigation, and cryptocurrency-related disputes.

Tal earned her J.D. from Florida International University College of Law, where she graduated first in her class. While in law school, Tal served as the Executive Managing Editor of the FIU Law Review, interned for the Honorable Ivan F. Fernandez of the Third District Court of Appeal of Florida, and worked as a research assistant to Professor Thomas E. Baker.

In addition to her legal practice, Tal is actively involved in the South Florida legal community. She regularly speaks at her alma mater on career development and mentorship, serves as a board member of the Federal Bar Association's South Florida Chapter, and is a member of the Southern District of Florida's Ad Hoc Committee on Rules and Procedure. Tal also chairs the Federal Bar Association's Judicial Intern Academy, an initiative dedicated to expanding internship opportunities for law students nationwide.
