Morgan McDonald named a 2023 Lexpert Rising Star

DLA Piper (Canada) LLP is proud to announce that Morgan McDonald from the firm's Vancouver ‎office has been named a ‎‎2023 Lexpert Rising Star.‎

Morgan’s practice is focused on assisting founders, start-up and growth companies in the ‎‎technology ‎‎sector. She has ‎extensive experience in corporate structure,  governance, commercial ‎transactions, M&A, private equity ‎and venture capital transactions in technology and technology enabled sectors, and in emerging growth areas, currently including artificial intelligence. 

Morgan incorporates her expertise and leadership into mentorship and partnered legal advice throughout the community. She is co-founder of DLA Piper’s Black and Indigenous Business ‎Law Clinic, an organization dedicated to providing Black and ‎Indigenous businesses with pro bono, corporate and commercial legal advice, and is active in Canada-wide incubator and accelerator programs such as Spring Activator, Acetech, and The Forum, where she sits on the board and is as an active mentor to numerous entrepreneurs.
