DLA Piper Canada is once more a proud sponsor and host of the Harold G. Fox Moot

DLA Piper (Canada) LLP is proud to participate as a platinum sponsor and event co-ordinator ‎of The Harold G. Fox Moot on IP law.

For the nineth consecutive year, DLA Piper Canada will play a key role in organizing this ‎event, which promotes the study of Canadian intellectual property law and allows law students to interact ‎with jurists from Canada’s highest courts. The 2025 moot is co-chaired by DLA Piper Canada IP lawyers Bentley Gaikis and Cristina Mihalceanu.

On February 21-22, ten schools from across Canada will participate in the Moot. This year’s moot will feature judicial panellists from the Supreme Court of Canada, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the ‎Federal Court of Appeal, the Federal Court and the Superior Court of ‎Justice for Ontario. The Fox IP Lecture will be delivered by The Right Honourable Lord Justice Birss of the Court of Appeal and Deputy Head of Civil Justice in England and Wales on "How much is enough? Current problems with sufficient disclosure in patents”.
