David McDonald’s practice focuses on all areas concerning labour and employment law.

David has appeared before, or attended, all levels of Court in New Brunswick and assisted in representing clients on matters before ‎Occupational Health and Safety Act arbitration, Public Service Labour Relations adjudication, Canada ‎Labour Code adjudication, and the New Brunswick Human Rights Commission.‎ His experience includes negotiation, drafting various pleadings, court documents, memoranda, opinions, ‎employment agreements, policies, and briefs with respect to employment standards, labour grievances, ‎human rights, occupational health and safety, and complex multi-jurisdictional and multi-party disputes. ‎

David takes pride in developing strong and long-lasting relationships with clients while simultaneously ‎providing an exceptional legal product in a practical and efficient manner. ‎David has a long history of volunteer work and student leadership experience. He is a former board member for ‎PRUDE Inc. P.R.U.D.E, (Pride of Race, Unity, and Dignity through Education), is a non-profit organization, ‎founded in 1981, dedicated to promoting the full participation of all cultural communities in the social, ‎cultural, and economic fabric of mainstream New Brunswick life.‎

While attending UNB Law, David was voted First-Year Executive Representative for the UNB Law Students’ ‎Society, competed on the UNB Law Negotiations Moot Team, where his partner and him placed 2nd in ‎Canada at the Canadian National Negotiation Competition, and served as the Present of the UNB Business ‎Law Society in his final year of study.‎
